Romea d’Ameor – The Great Empresses of Japan

Perfume: The Great Empresses of Japan
House: Romea d’Ameor
Source: Luckyscent
Size: 1mL

Luckyscent Notes: freesia, melon, ylang-ylang, violet, rose, lily-of-the-valley, peony, heliotrope and iris, orris root, vetiver, teak wood, sandalwood, tonka bean

Date: 2/1/09 Weather: 30 degrees, sunny

Comments: Melony, woody, vanillic. The whole seems medicinal. Then it turns into sawdust from pressure-treated wood boards. 30 minutes later – floral, vanillic, woody. Definitely reminds me of Kenzo Amour – more floral. A distinct violet note appears and takes over – grounded by the powdery vanillic woody base. Becomes a vanillic woody musk that hangs here. Had reapplied at the 6 hour mark – the reapplication brought out more iris notes at the top and more musk in the dry down. Gone the next morning.
