Luckyscent Notes: Grapefruit, patchouli, cardamom, geranium, Haitian vetiver, iris, ylang ylang

Date: 11/9/08 Weather: 53 degrees, sunny

Comments: Begins with a strong wood note. 5 minutes later – a leathery iris. 10 minutes in – grapefruit rind. Sadly, my skin hangs onto this note for the duration. NOT a huge grapefruit fan. This particular version goes sour and bitter on my skin very quickly. Occasionally, during the first hour, I would also catch a bit of tarry smoke on the sillage. Gone in 3 hours (thankfully).

Date:5/20/09 Weather: 65 degrees, sunny

Comments: Dusty vetiver. Tad bit salty. After 5 minutes, a hint of iris. 30 minutes in, the grapefruit appears and goes sour. Bummer – really wanted the top notes to last longer. This was gone within 2 hours. NO lasting power AT ALL.
