Annick Goutal Notes: Frangipani, Absolute of Ylang-Ylang, Absolute of Jasmine and Absolute of Vanilla.

Date: 7/23/08 Weather: 79 degrees, storm’s a comin’

Comments: Starts of with a white floral blast. Dominantly jasmine and frangipane. There is a musky, cumin note that appears as soon as it hits skin – very subtle, but gives it a skin-like quality. This disappears within 20 minutes or so and it turns into a much sweeter white floral. A very distinctive vanillic amber blend appears. Wow! Gorgeous stuff!!! Stays this way for a few hours. 6 hours after initial application – its a very close-wearing frangipane with a hint of vanilla. Not catching any sandalwood in this one. Big fan!

Date: 9/9/08 Weather: 84 degrees, sunny

Comments: White floral blast – mostly jasmine. Dries down to a pretty frangipani / vanilla. Not getting the complexity on this wearing, mostly because I was cooking and not paying much attention. There is significant sillage on this one for the first couple of hours. Still absolutely stunning and may be up there as one of my favorite white florals.
