Parfum d’Empire – Eau Suave

Perfume: Eau Suave
House: Parfum d’Empire
Source: Swap – Coconut
Size: 1.5 mL EdP

Luckyscent Notes: pepper, coriander, saffron, Rose de Malmaison, apricot, raspberry, peach, vanilla and musk

Date: 7/3/08 Weather: 74 degrees, sunny

Comments: Starts with a cologne-like blast. Pepper, citrus (from the coriander), woods. Within 10 minutes, begins to soften and turns into this gorgeous saffron, rose, vanilla, fruit confection. The first impression bears almost no relationship to the scent left 30 minutes in. After 90 minutes, pick up a distinct rose note with its slight soapiness. The fruit confection has disappeared almost entirely. As it ages, you can smell rose with supporting notes floating in and out. Vanilla, some wood, some greens, a hint of soap, some spices, a little amber. Definitely a wrist-to-nose analyzer scent. After 6 hours – closer wearing, but still going. Probably my favorite of this line so far.
