Perfume: L’Eau d’Issey

Perfumer: Jacques Cavallier
Source: Beauty Encounter
Size: 1.2 mL Spray EdT

Sephora Notes: Lotus, Freesia, Cyclamen, Rose Water, Fresh Peonies, Carnation, White Lilies, Precious Woods, Osmanthus, Tuberose, Amberseed, Musk.

Date: 5/25/08 Weather: 72 degrees,sunny

Comments: Starts woody with a slight watermelon note. The watermelon serves as an accent. As it dries, the melon note strengthens along with the introduction of some aquatic florals. This is what I wanted Light Blue to be. The melon and aquatic florals continue to strengthen over the next hour. The scent is quite pretty and one of the few watery fruity florals I like. There is a lot more sillage than one would have expected for this type of scent. Enough that I was concerned about how Mom would react to it. No comments from her – so it wasn’t as obvious as I feared. As it dries further (about 90 minutes and later), becomes more watery floral. Gone in 6 hours.

Date: 6/27/09 Weather: 75 degrees, sunny, early morning

Comments: Melon and calone. This gave me a slight headache for a couple of hours. Faded to a watery floral and the headache slowly disappeared. Showered after 3 hours.
