Cartier – Le Baiser du Dragon

Perfume: Le Baiser du Dragon
House: Cartier
Source: Beauty Encounter
Size: 1.5 mL spray

OsMoz Notes:
Top note : amaretto accord, neroli blossom, gardenia
Middle note : iris, cedar, musk and Bulgarian rose
Base note : vetiver, patchouli, benzoin, amber

Date: 3/19/08 Weather: 55 degrees, drizzly

Comments: Starts with an herbal blast and some woods. Morphs to green, woody floral. Then the woods and a heavy white floral begin to dominate along with some spices. 20 minutes in – ambery, spicy, woody and still a bit green. The greens disappear within 30 minutes and you are left with a woody, spicy amber. Almost incense-like. 1 hour in – it seems to disappear. Just a faint green amber and that’s it. 1.5 hours – woods, spices. A bit bitter. 2.5 hours in – vanilla, amber, some spices. Close wearing. Still going 5 hours later – still close wearing amber/vanilla. Not FBW but highly wearable.

Date: 1/3/08 Weather: 47 degrees, sunny, breezy

Comments: Starts with orange/bergamot and amber. Becomes herbal and amber. Then settles into a pretty floral and amber with a hint of balsam and musk. Wearing super sparingly. Nose is still a bit wonky, but very lovely.
