Date: 2/10/08 Weather: 35 degrees, breezy and damp

Comments: This was the perfume Mom handed down to me in her attempt to get me away from Coty Wild Musk. I remembered it being a green powdery floral. Starts with violets and greenery. Quickly develops a powdery note – I wind up with green powder. There is a hint of musk in here that I didn’t remember from when I wore this as a kid. Spices and an orange note make an appearance with the green powdery floral musk. A distinct cinnamon note begins to dominate, mixed with some wood and the greens. The drydown is a pretty benzoin/spice. For the most part, it is the perfume I remember. Gone in 4 hours.

Date: 3/1/08 Weather: 47 degrees, windy

Comments: Green violet powder. Fairly high sillage for the first hour or so. Begins to develop that hint of musk as the sillage calms (about 90 minutes or so). Then spice and orange notes – the orange appears as a tart note. Get a bit of “fizziness” 2 hours in (the aldehydes?) mixed with the main green floral powdery note. Becomes closer wearing. At 5 hours – a spicy benzoin vanilla. Very pretty. Lasting much longer this time. Showered after 6 hours.

Date: 12/11/08 Weather: 45 degrees, rainy

Comments: Very green. Not as powdery this time. Within 30 minutes, getting some spice (cloves – maybe the carnation – and cinnamon) and benzoin. Significantly spicier on this wearing and evolving much faster.
