Luckyscent Notes: Black vanilla absolute, licorice, sandalwood, coconut milk, beeswax, caramelized benzoin, bitter almond, Gaiac wood, tonka bean

Date: 11/20/07 Weather: 60 degrees and clear

Comments: Starts almost sour and boozy, then gets buttery, then woody with the vanilla, then a burnt caramel. Hint of licorice appears. Blends into skin quickly. This is not a gourmand vanilla. More burnt vanilla with wood. Wearable, but not crazy about the top.

Date: 2/5/08 Weather: 60 degrees, evening

Comments: Sandalwood, powder and vanilla bean. There’s a hint of licorice in here as well as a note that reminds me of pears. There is also a burnt note. For some reason, this just isn’t driving me wild – even as a sleep scent. Blends into skin quickly and fades within 6 hours.
