Tauer Perfumes – Le Maroc pour Elle

Perfume: Le Maroc pour Elle
Perfumer: Andy Tauer
Source: Luckyscent
Size: 1mL

Luckyscent Notes: Moroccan Petitgrain (bitter orange), French Lavender, red Mandarin, Moroccan Rose absolute, Moroccan Jasmin absolute, Moroccan Cedarwood from the High Atlas, Sandalwood, Patchouli

Date: 10/18/07 Weather: 65 degrees

Comments: Starts green and fruity floral (really well balanced). Evolves to show some fruit, then becomes a floral/amber/myrrh scent. In 20 minutes, becomes a stunning rose and incense laced with sandalwood and patchouli. This stuff lasts forever (over 16 hours!). Gorgeous!

Date: 1/23/08 Weather: 30 degrees

Comments: Still starts as a beautiful fruity floral (red berries and roses), but woodier this time. The evolution is still the same, but I noticed that if I sniff my wrist, I get woodier notes. If I just enjoy the sillage, I get that rose/amber/incense/fruit note. Fairly linear once you hit the drydown. Still gorgeous. Still lasts forever. Woke up the next morning and could still smell it.

Date: 2/10/08 Weather: 35 degrees, windy

Comments: Picked up an herbal note at the top (thyme). That disappears to the rose/amber/incense/fruit note in the sillage with more wood wrist sniffing. Still lasts forever. Still very linear. Asked for this (as an option) from BF for Valentines Day – because hockey tickets just ain’t romantic enough.

Date: 8/12/08 Weather: 76 degrees, sunny

Comments: Rose/amber/incense/jam. Top to bottom. Lasted about 10 hours with the heat. Still slightly there if you really concentrate. Really strong on the top this time, even though I applied it the way I normally do. So strong I could almost taste it. Not a bad thing, fortunately, but a warning to wear even more sparingly in hot weather.

Date: 2/5/09 Weather: 18 degrees, sunny

Comments: Roses and saffron. Very medicinal this time. After 6 hours – significantly more floral. The deep drydown (8 hour mark) features a beautiful balsamic wood and vanillic amber. Was still going over 16 hours later.
