Ginestet – Botrytis

Perfume: Botrytis
Perfumer: Ginestet
Source: Luckyscent
Size: 1mL

Luckyscent notes: honey, candied fruits, quince, pain d’epice, white flowers

Date: 9/20/07 Weather: 65 degrees

Comments: Starts with a serious hit of caramel. This fades a bit, then picks up a bit of rot – like its namesake. Also becomes a bit dusty with the sweetness – like port wine on the skins in vats. May be a bit anosmic today.

Date: 12/10/07 Weather: 55 degrees, drizzly

Comments: Top – a warm honey scent. Turns a bit chocolatey. Feels like it gets close to the skin.

Date: 12/25/07 Weather: 30 degrees, clear

Comments: Top – orange blossom honey, then turns a bit grassy this time. Becomes dusty. Finds that this is really good with wine – improves wine’s flavor. Nice sillage that appears occasionally.
