Notes: honeyed almonds, rose absolute, pistachio, hazelnut, cream

Date: 8/31/07 Weather: 75 degrees, evening

Wearing: Starts very nutty (almonds/pistachio). 3 minutes in, more roses. Throughout the evolution of the perfume – roses and nuts. Gone after 3 hours.

Comments: Significantly drier than other loukhoum scents (Sweet Oriental Dream, KM Loukhoum). Shockingly dry and somewhat strange. Not particularly fond of this, but it is obviously well-crafted.

Date: 10/21/07 Weather: 55 degrees and clear

Comments: The top smells like Frangelico. Within 5 minutes, a combination of frangelico and roses. Still very dry with no hint of vanilla or milkiness. Still don’t like this much and it turns a bit sour after 2 hours. Still gone in 3 hours.

Date: 11/29/07 Weather: 45 degrees, clear

Comments: Still starts with nuts – Frangelico. Still very dry. Some roses. Essentially roses and nuts with NO sweetness. As much as I try – I don’t like this scent. It wore MUCH longer than last time – almost 20 hours plus a shower! Tried layering this with CSP Vanille Amande over it. The combination worked wonders for BOTH scents. The Ava Luxe gave the CSP some complexity. The CSP gave the Ava Luxe some badly needed sweetness.
