Yves Rocher – Rose Absolute

Perfume: Rose Absolute
House: Yves Rocher
Source: Swap – BlackCat
Size: 1mL

Yves Rocher Notes: rose damascena, cinnamon, tonka bean, patchouli

Date: 6/11/09 Weather: 81 degrees, cloudy

Comments: Spritzed this on over 6 hour old Nahema. Start very fascinating. Rose (sweet, creamy) with fruit (berries? something tropical?) tea. This thing vibrates for the first 15 minutes. The rose note reminds me of Guerlain Insolence’s creamy rose/violet accord. Sadly – the tea note in this thing turns very astringent on me (like many tea scents do). After 15-20 minutes, I am wearing strong, astringent Lipton tea with desiccated roses. Hangs here for the next couple of hours. Finally – the astringent note fades and turns to musky rose. Slightly soapy. Slightly vanillic. I resprayed and had the same evolution. The skin eventually became a slightly vanillic musky rose. On the clothing, however, remained the astringent Lipton tea with dry roses. I suspect those who wear tea scents well will wear this one well. Gone in 8 hours.
