Perfumed Court Notes: patchouli, cinnamon, amber and black woods

Date: 12/12/08 Weather: 39 degrees, damp

Comments: Incense and cumin – heavy on the cumin. 5 minutes in – a slight stone fruit note makes an appearance and vanishes. Within 30 minutes, the cumin burns off and the incense turns resinous. 45 minutes – vanilla and cinnamon in an incensed room. Stays here for the duration. Very faint at the 6 hour mark. I expected the Lutens to last longer than this – particularly with its powerful, high sillage open.
