Vero Profumo – Rubj
Perfume Court Notes: orange blossom, jasmine, musk
Date: 8/15/08 Weather: 68 degrees, sunny
Comments: Orange blossom and jasmine at first. The blend gets a little soapy for about 15 minutes, then the rose appears. 5 minutes later, a jammy note joins them. The very slight soapy note seems to clarify the jasmine/rose and slight fruit combo. Serious sillage on this one – about 3 drops should be enough. Also the most traditionally pretty of the lot. 3 hours later – a clean, sweet jasmine with a slight hint of rose, vanilla and musk. Stays there for another 4 hours or so. Becomes a skin-scent after 5 hours – jasmine, vanilla, a slightly soapy musk. Gone in 10 hours.
Date: 9/30/08 Weather: 70 degrees, sunny
Comments: Orange blossom, jasmine and rose. A musky note develops after 3 hours with a hint of vanilla. Still incredibly pretty. Gets progressively muskier and closer-wearing on the dry-down.
Date: 11/5/08 Weather: 50 degrees, damp, evening
Comments: Rich jasmine and rose combo. Seems to be laced with vetiver. During the next hour – the orange blossom appears and begins to dominate. Still the same vetiver / musky undertone. Just stunning. Struck me as the ultimate woman perfume. Next morning – left with traces of an orange blossom musk.
Retired – finished decant
