Stephanie de Saint-Aignan – Berberiades

Perfume: Berberiades
Perfumer: Stephanie de Saint-Aignan
Source: Luckyscent
Size: 1 mL

Luckyscent Notes: Citrus, precious woods (Sandal, cèdar), flowers (light jasmin), ginger, saffron, cumin, Amber, incense

Date: 3/23/08 Weather: 40 degrees, breezy

Comments: Starts woody, develops a hint of citrus, then becomes woody with a healthy dose of frankincense. About an hour in – the drydown – has incense, flowers and a strong amber note. 2 hours in – a sweet incenseish amber. Very similar to Andy Tauer’s L’Air du Desert Marocain without the more masculine-reading topnotes (weaker on the citrus, softer on the woods). Gone in 4 hours.

Date: 6/3/08 Weather: 80 degrees, humid

Comments: Slightly smoky incenseish amber. This one faded in and out for the better part of 6 hours. Felt confident in this one.
