L’Atelier Boheme – Immortelle

Perfume: Immortelle
Perfumer: L’atelier Boheme
Source: Luckyscent
Size: 1 mL

Luckyscent notes: Brazilian tangerine, Italian bergamot, light florals (?), pomegranate, amber, immortelle

Date: 2/25/08 Weather: 35 degrees

Comments: Starts with a sweet citrus fruity / bergamot note. Evolves to flowers and a very distinctive soapy note. The soapy note is throughout this scent – making the scent smell like floral soap. The fruits burn off after 15 minutes or so and the flowers strengthen. The soapy note also begins to show itself as a soapy version of amber. The sillage on this is quite nice in waves. Flowers, a hint of red fruit and a vanilla-ish note. Sniff close to your wrist and the soapy amber dominates. I would have been much happier with this scent if they chose another version of the amber. Showered off 2 hours in.

Retired – swap to Twolf 4/27/08

  1. Hilarious — saw your link, I’m doing this in the candy on Thursday. HATED IT. HATE HATE HATE. There, there’s my review 🙂

  2. I have a much higher tolerance for sugar than you do, March. I saw some promise – if they would just get rid of the soap so it didn’t remind me so much of public bathroom hand cleanser (the pink flavor).

  3. Wow – such odd reactions. I’m not a floral lover, in fact I don’t like florals at all. Got a sample in a Luckyscent sample pack so I felt obligated to try it. It smells great on me – very soft with the red fruit and I guess the vanilla note. My husband liked it a lot. Not sure if I’d ever buy it (too girly and again, floral). But it did smell nice on me. Felt like I should be wearing pink…which I don’t.

  4. I think my big problem with this was the soapy note. But I can easily see how this could smell wonderful on some folks. I’m glad this worked well on you.

  5. […] Sakecat seemed to dislike it a lot!  […]
