Comments: Big. White. Floral. LOTS of tuberose and indolic jasmine and other heavy flowers. On the sillage, can catch whiffs of vanilla and a slight spicyness. Much prettier from a distance than up close. Around 2 hours in – the white florals burn off a bit and spices, wood and vanilla come forward. 3.5 hours in – much more vanilla, some woods and a hint of vetiver. It becomes closer-wearing. Very pretty dry-down. That dry down is still going 9 hours later.

Date: 6/17/08 Weather: 77 degrees, sunny

Comments: Still big, white, indolic floral. Still pretty tough going in the early stages if you are wearing it. But I don’t think it is the disaster that LT and TS claim it is. Only that there is too much emphasis on the funky parts of the white florals. After a couple of hours, only get a hint of that tough-going top amongst the Guerlainade. A white floral and vanilla thing with some wood and a hint of spices. After 4 hours, it almost smells like there is a carnation lurking somewhere in there. And it becomes much closer wearing. Boyfriend seemed to like it a lot since he attacked me with no provocation. Always a good sign.

Date: 12/21/08 Weather: 36 degrees, sunny

Comment: Smells like lily of the valley at the top this time. Much nicer than I remembered on the last wearing. Quickly evolves to a lily and white floral laced guerlainade. with lots of vetiver and vanilla. May still be picking up traces of the Cuir Beluga on this wearing. Lasts about 8 hours.
