Michael Storer – Yvette

Perfume: Yvette
Perfumer: Michael Storer
Source: Michael Storer
Size: 1.5 mL

Notes: Muguet, Tarragon, Vanilla, white chocolate, oakmoss, ambrette, precious woods

Date: 11/10/07 Weather: 35 degrees and clear

Comments: Again, that chemical topnote. Then becomes anise (tarragon). Vanilla and chocolate make an appearance but the tarragon strengthens. A rubbery note also makes an appearance, then the plasticine note. My favorite of the 3 women’s scents, which isn’t saying much since I HATED Stephanie and Genvieve. Much stronger sillage on this one.

Date: 12/4/07 Weather: 45 degrees, evening

Comments: Wore this fresh after a shower. Much nicer with the anise topnote – then becomes an anise/vanilla/chocolate scent. Much nicer on clean skin. Still very strong sillage.

Date: 7/22/09 Weather: 83 degrees, partly cloudy

Comments: Worn fresh after a shower. Definitely picked up a chypre vibe this time with a serious undernote of “clean.” After 30 minutes, up close became rubbery. From a distance, a pretty herbal green floral chypre. The anise/tarragon appears once the sillage fades after 4 hours.
