Bond No. 9 – West Side
Perfume: West Side
House: Bond No. 9
Perfumer: Michel Almairac
Source: Luscious Cargo
Size: 1mL
Luscious Cargo Notes: rose, ylang ylang, peony, sandalwood, amber, vanilla, musk
Date: 11/17/07 Weather: 45 degrees, clear and breezy
Comments: Starts as clear white floral. Bit of wood appears laced through it. Becomes rosy. Develops some spice. Picks up some amber with the flowers and the wood. Like the drydown on this. The top is almost watery floral. Interesting scent.
Date: 2/6/08 Weather: 60 degrees, evening
Comments: Starts with a citrusy rose laced with wood. The citrus burns off within 10 minutes and the scent becomes roses and wood. Stays this way for most of the rest of the evolution. Not picking up many subtleties on this one today.
Date: 3/16/09 Weather: 52 degrees, drizzly
Comments: Beginning a vanillic, almost chocolate note. Then becomes sweet flowers and woods with a hint of vanillic musk.
Date: 3/24/09 Weather: 40 degrees, windy
Comments: Woody, slightly citric flowers. Heavy on the white florals and tea note. Didn’t pick this up last week. Becomes a straightforward amber. Gone in 6 hours. What happened to the vanillic, almost chocolately musk from last week?!?!?
