Frederic Malle – Lys Mediterannee

Perfume: Lys Mediterannee
House: Frederic Malle
Source: The Perfume Court (currently not available)
Size: 1.5mL

Perfume Court Notes: ginger lily, Lilium Speciosum, lily of the valley, angelica root, orange flower, water lily, salicylates, ambrette seeds and musk

Date: 1/25/08 Weather: 21 degrees – sunny and COLD

Comments: Start as a green lily. Sweet, floral, not particularly spicy. Stays true for the majority of the wearing. Picks up a hint of sweetness (vanilla?) during the drydown. Very pretty. 6 hours later – a vanilla/musky dry-down.

Date: 3/29/08 Weather: 40 degrees, evening

Comments: Green lily. Gone in 4 hours – tops.

Date: 7/28/08 Weather: 80 degrees, evening

Comments: Still a greenish lily. Quite fresh, almost aquatic. Seems very linear. In 4 hours (woke up in the middle of the night), same approximate scent as the top – but very close-wearing. Gone by morning.
