Sage Machado – Pearl EdT/Oil

Perfume: Pearl
Perfumer: Sage Machado
Source: Luckyscent
Size: 1mL EdT

Own full bottle oil from Beautyhabit (purchased Sept 2007)

Notes: Indian Sandalwood, vanilla, light musk

Date: 9/5/07 Weather: 70 degrees

Wearing: Starts sharply winey. Mellows to a nice floral with a hint of vanilla. IN 5 minutes, becomes an ozone ad water scent. A green note appears 7 minutes in. Then the white flowers make an appearance 10 minutes in.

Comments: This is a sweetly clean smelling scent. Nice, light. Seems summery. Also a good wake-up scent.

Date: 10/14/07 Weather: N/A

Comments: Catching more of a healthy, light vanilla. Also catching more musk on this wearing. Still fond of this scent.

Date: 10/23/07 Weather: 75 degrees and breezy

Comments: Wearing this over 6 hour old Ava Luxe Pearl Musk. This is a very nice combination. Amplifies the vanilla and muskiness

Date: 11/29/08 Weather: 45 degrees, clear

Comments: Wearing EdT on one arm. This starts as a much sharper floral. Fades quickly to a close wearing floral base. The EdT has a more watery/ozonic feel. Wearing oil on the other arm – this starts much spicier and has more vanilla throughout the scent. The oil dries down vanilla and musky. The EdT has more evolution and has fainter sillage. The oil is more linear. Layering the 2 improves both.

Subsequent wearings: Starting to wear this to bed at night in this or the oil form. Very comforting. The EdT is a regular in my work rotation.
