Il Profumo – Vanille Bourbon

Perfume: Vanille Bourbon
Perfumer: Il Profumo
Source: Luckyscent
Size: 1mL

Notes: cedar flowers, orchids (bourbon and yellow), heliotrope, tiare, rose wood

Date: 9/11/07 Weather: 80 degrees

Wearing: Starts like a pleasant vanilla with a hint of soap. A little plastic and a bit of wood. In 5 minutes, a green note appears with the vanilla. In 15 minutes, a spicy note replaces the green note. 3 hours later – vanilla with a hint of wood.

Comments: There is this soapy amber in the background – particularly in the beginning. A nice silliage, even if it is a touch soapy.

Date: 10/30/07 Weather: 50 degrees and clear

Comments: Starts off boozy and lotionish. Reminds me of Bath and Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel. Becomes sour towards the end. Wearable, but I like other vanillas better.

Date: 9/25/08 Weather: 60 degrees, cloudy

Comments: Start smelling like bourbon. Within 5 minutes – morphs to Pink Sugar. Again, the nose is still off and I am not picking up details. Seems to have medium sillage and I’m finding it somewhat comforting today. Stayed true for over 10 hours. Layered Kretek over this, which, sadly, did nothing for either scent.

Date: 7/20/09 Weather: 80 degrees, sunny

Comments: Smelled like vanilla-scented new plastic doll. Stayed this way for the duration. Did nothing for me. Finished the bottle.
