Parfumerie Generale – Un Crime Exotique

Perfume: Un Crime Exotique
Perfumer: Parfumerie Generale
Source: Luckyscent
Size: 1mL

Notes: Osmanthus, gingerbread, tea, cinnamon, star anise, mate absolute, vanilla sugar, South Sea Island sandalwood

Date: 8/27/07 Weather: 75 degrees

Wearing: Top is orange oil, cinnamon, tea, nutmeg and allspice. Reminds me of russian tea. Fades to cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice (the potpouri you put in the bathroom, not the spice rack). Then, after 10 minutes, a chocolate, orange and tea note appears (like the chocolate oranges from Xmas). In 20 minutes it develops this sweet infected pussy funk – like a highly infected boil.

Comments: Starts out ok enough, not a fave. But quickly turns into this horrific scrubber of a scent. A huge shame since the notes sound so wonderful. Maybe the mate absolute? I’m going to have to try this again in colder weather.

Date: 10/29/07 Weather: 50 degrees and clear

Comments: Smells like clove and cinnamon studded oranges. Russian tea, potpourri. Wearing it over aged louve. Brings out the gourmand tendencies. The Louve prevents it from going sour.

Date: 12/1/07 Weather: 45 degrees and clear

Comments: Stills smells like clove and cinnamon studded oranges, russian tea and potpourri. Had to scrub because it developed the vomitous note again.
