L’Artisan – Piment Brulant
Perfume: Piment Brulant
House: L’Artisan
Perfumer: Bertrand Duchaufour
Source: LuckyScent
Size: 1mL
Luckyscent Notes: Red pepper, chocolate, vanilla, cloves, poppy, musk, amber
Date: 8/16/07 Weather: 85 degrees
Wearing: 1st sniff – green bell pepper and chiles. After 5 minutes, turns a bit licorice and vanishes. 10 minutes in, pepper, a little bit of chocolate. Reminds me of mole. 20 minutes – still some pepper, clove and amber but very faint.
Notes: Reminds me of chicken mole (peppers – bell, jalapeno and poblano with chocolate). Strikes me as a very intellectual scent with a lot of produce in the notes. Fades very quickly (or I’m anosmic to the rest of the notes).
Date: 11/30/07 Weather: N/A
Comments: It smells like I am wearing chicken mole – something I want to eat, not something I want to smell like.
