Neil Morris – Zephyr

Perfume: Zephyr
Perfumer: Neil Morris
Source: Neil Morris Fragrances
Size: 1mL EdP

Perfumer’s Notes:
Top – Tangerine and Papaya
Heart – Honeysuckle, Casablanca Lily, White Tea
Base – Sandalwood, Amber, Ocean Musk

Date: 8/10/07 Weather: 80 degrees

Wearing: Top smelled like lemon geranium, thyme, lemon basil. Really didn’t catch much fruit in the top notes – it registered more herbal on me. 5 minutes in you can smell the honeysuckle, lily and tea. Very strong on the honeysuckle. 10 minutes in – honeysuckle and orange pekoe. Within 30 minutes – it turns a bit powdery with musk and sandalwood. Amber appears as sweetness in the backdrop. The honeysuckle note lingers. Eventually, it ends as a light honeysuckle fragrance. I thought it ended there, but an hour and a half in, I started picking up the sandalwood note. 3 hours in, I could still smell a faint amber and honeysuckle scent on my wrist.

Comments: A very pretty floral. Beautifully crafted and weaves in and out during the course of the day. It doesn’t feel like “me” right now but I am starting to gain an appreciation for well-crafted florals.

Date: 11/10/07 Weather: 45 degrees, cloudy and damp

Comments: Fruit in the top notes this time – then becomes honeysuckle and tea. In about 30 minutes, turns powdery with some musk and sandalwood. Still doesn’t feel like “me” right now, but I think the scent is office worthy.
